Technipower's Cobalt₁₅ AC/DC Front End is an extremely cost effective means of providing highly reliable, non-isolated, adjustable voltage and current regulated DC Power independent of the quality of the three phase input power. At 50 Watts per cubic inch, 95% efficiency and 92% power factor, it is elevating industrial power conversion standards. It can provide your system with interlock-able on/off control with the option of soft starting your system. The front end also provides overload protection using a Hall Effect current sensor to safeguard the user's load.

The AC/DC front End can be used as a stand-alone component for vertically integrated systems or a pre-regulator for the Cobalt₁₅ Power Converter. Available in all global three phase input voltages or as a universal front end when used at less than full power. Its power factor enhanced design allows a stable DC output even under poor AC input power conditions improving the performance of your system's end process by eliminating the effects of input power line fluctuations.
