Edison, NJ – June 2007 – Star Micronics America introduces the TSP700II, the fastest single station thermal printer available on the market today. The TSP700II is replacing the company's elite TSP700.

After the enormous success and popularity of the TSP700, originally released in 2001, the company decided to further enhance the printer. The TSP700II has been designed to be 50% faster, boasts a 50% longer print head life and a 100% longer autocutter life.

With improved head reliability design and print resolution, this printer offers exceptional print quality. In addition, Star has modified the overall design of the printer to feature a new top cover which extends to the edge of the printer making it difficult for dust and liquids to penetrate and harm the printer. Furthermore, sound and vibration dampening channels within the printer help reduce to printing noise and add an extra layer of protection from moisture or dust when used in harsh environments.

The TSP700II ships complete with interface cover, wall mount and operation kit with rollers and paper support for vertical mount, power switch cover, starter roll of paper and a CD that features drivers and futurePRNT software.
