Thermik Corporation expands into the area of high switching capacities introducing the new Series A1 (types SA1, CA1, and PA1) Thermal Protectors. These high power switches are most commonly used in electrical appliances where a reliable detecting of current and temperature is indicated.

These applications can be:

• Transformers
• Ballasts
• Other Electrical Equipment

The switch excels with a typical short tripping time. The TP characterizes its ability to stand high current load in spite of a small design. Therefore, the ALHA 1 is able to switch the current directly in a distributed condition of the application. The switch is impregnation resistant and is available in the following connecting versions:

• SA 1 - with lead wires and insulation cap
• CA 1 - with lead wires without insulation cap
• PA 1 - with connecting pins
