Thermon Heat Transfer Compounds (cement) provide an ef?cient thermal connection between the tracer and the process equipment. By eliminating the air voids, heat is directed into the pipe or tank wall through conduction rather than convection. A single tracer utilizing Thermon's heat transfer compound has the equivalent performance of three to ?ve bare tracers.
