In support of the government's stimulus programs, Titan Tool Supply has announced a major price reduction in its popular FX-3 Stereo Microscope, reducing the list price from $850.00 to $529.00
Incorporating high-quality, Japanese-made optics, the FX-3 features unusually long focal lengths and great depths of field in the lower magnification areas. Its large field of view has made the FX-3 extremely adaptable to medical and industrial applications for inspection during deburring, electronic soldering and drilling operations.
According to Titan, the FX-3 has excellent natural light gathering capabilities, offering unusually crisp, sharp images even when used with natural room light. In addition to the following standard features, the FX-3 can be adapted to special stands for mounting on machine tools or for use in medical operating procedures:
§ Stand: aluminum base plate with a vertical mounting post.
§ Body: rack and pinion focusing arrangement with adjustment up to 9.500" above base plate
§ Binocular Tube: inclined at 45° with diopter and variable adjustments for inter-pupillary use
§ Eyepieces: extra-wide field 10X is standard with 20X available as an option.
§ Objectives: 1X is standard and built directly into the unit. Optional objectives of .5X, 1.5X and 2X are available
§ Magnification: Six different magnifications are possible with an optional set of eyepieces and objectives.
§ Image: Right side up and optically correct. Lenses are hard-coated and color corrected.
§ Weight: 3.5 lbs
