The Torque Transmission thrust bearing design incorporates the optimum combination of a molded 6/6 nylon retainer, with harden grade 100 carbon steel balls, and harden carbon steel washers with 10 micro finish. The self-lubricating properties of HS nylon, combined with the hardened steel high-grade balls reduces friction and minimizes or eliminates noise during rotation. Hardened-micro finish thrust washers reduce noise and increase durability.

- Carbon Steel: Washers-CR 1075 heat treated to RC 59-61
- Carbon Steel: Balls-Grade 100 S.A.E. 1018 with RC 60 minimum
- Stainless Steel: Washers-CR 410 heat treated to RC 38-42
- Stainless Steel: Balls-Type 440 with RC 58-65 minimum
- Additional custom sizes from 2-1/2 to12" ID are also available.
