Toshiba America's Imaging Systems Division, a leader in advanced imaging technologies, introduces the miniature, high resolution, progressive scan, "ice-cube-size" CCD camera family, the IK-52V(1/2 inch) and IK-53V (1/3 inch). The tiny, 29 mm³ cameras weigh only 45 grams each and both feature VGA (video graphics array) resolution. The effective 659 x 494 pixels feature horizontal resolution at 500 TV lines and the 1/60 second, non-interlaced shuttering offers crisp, clean images. A 60 dB signal-to-noise ratio makes this high performance camera family ideal for industrial imaging environments.
The video graphics array outputs to either a frame grabber for data storage or direct to a VGA monitor for immediate review of the captured imagery. With the manual gain set to maximum, the minimum subject illumination setting is 1 lux at F1.4 sensitivity. Other features include the internal/external (HD/VD) synchronizing system with an HD/VD input/output that can be easily selected via the rear panel switch.
Toshiba's small, ultra-compact, "ice cube" cameras can be effortlessly integrated into machine vision systems where size and high resolution imaging are critical considerations for quality-sensitive inspection. Standard C-mount for lens, included.
