This is a family of compact socket connectors designed to deliver high currents to backplanes, midplanes and busbars in power distribution systems. The InBoard socket can deliver currents of up to 100A using little real estate, and with less millivolt drop and insertion/extraction forces than similar sockets using old generation power contact technology.

The InBoard socket can carry currents of up to 100A in a very small form factor of just 0.61" × 0.61". Thanks to its very low-profile package, it is ideal for power delivery to backplanes.

Versatile Socket Design

The InBoard socket is a versatile single-pole power connector that can be mounted on a board or a busbar. It mates with a pin that can be wire crimped, mounted on a board, or on a busbar. The pin can mate from the bottom of the socket and through the board or, using an alternative housing, it can mate from the top of the socket.
