The Melles Griot UltraThin™-series electronic shutters are optimized for OEM applications such as photography and night-vision/thermal cameras and sensors, which require compact size, low wieght, and low-voltage operation. UltraThin™ shutters may be mounted in any orientation. This is accomplished via three mounting holes. Electrical connection for standard 12Vdc shutters is made with a supplied connector.

• Reliable, multiblade shutter mechanism guarantees high operational speed and near 100% light extinction.

• UltraThin™-series shutters are designed to fit into restricted spaces.

• Spring-steel blades with a Teflon-impregnated, black matte finish provide smooth and dependable operation.

• Normally closed (standard) and normally open (custom) blade configurations are available.

• Rated nominal voltage for standard solenoids is 12 Vdc. Custom solenoids are available for 3-, 6-, 24-, and 48-Vdc operation.

• Controllers are available for standard (12-V) shutters.
