Jewelbond^TM DC-10-713 is a two component ultra clear epoxy adhesive designed for a variety of jewelry stone setting applications. Jewelbond^TM DC-10-713 forms a crystal clear bond line and is formulated with proprietary ultraviolet protectors to minimize yellowing of the cured epoxy. This adhesive when UV aged in a QUV Weatherometer outperforms other commercially available "Jewelry Adhesives." Any excess adhesive or visible bond lines are less noticeable due to the adhesive's outstanding clarity.

Jewelbond^TM DC-10-713 is low in viscosity and therefore offers maximum wetting and penetration of substrates. Tenacious bonds are formed at room temperature or with mild heat. Jewelbond^TM DC-10-713 has been used extensively to bond rhinestones, crystals, foilbacks, cabochons, pearls, diamonds, artificial and genuine stones. It can also be used anywhere a clear, strong bond is required.

Thixotropic additive DC-997 is available for applications requiring a higher viscosity.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Mix ratio, by weight (Resin:Catalyst) - 2:1

Mixed viscosity, 25°C, cps - 650

Cure schedule

25°C (77°F) - 24 Hours

30°C (86°F) - 3 1/2 Hours

35°C (95°F) - 1 1/2 Hours

45°C (113°F) - 20 Minutes

55°C (131°F) - 7 Minutes

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

1) By weight thoroughly mix 2 parts Jewelbond^TM DC-10-713R Epoxy Resin to 1 Part DC-10-713C Hardener.

2) Mix thoroughly and uniformly. Be careful not to whip excess air into epoxy when mixing.

3) DC-997 Thixotropic Activator Drops can be added one drop at a time to increase the viscosity.

4) Pour into squeeze bottles or syringes if dispensing pneumatically.

5) Let cure at room temperature or follow one of the recommended cure schedules.
