Through its accreditation under the IECEx System, UL can save you time and expense by eliminating the redundancy involved in obtaining HazLoc certifications for multiple markets worldwide. UL's IECEx System accreditation allows UL to issue Certificates of Conformity (CoCs) for motor repair/rebuild facilities that can be accepted by other national certification bodies in countries participating under the System without the need for additional certification. It is important to note that, in order to take advantage of this new service offering, the repair/rebuild facility must have ISO 9001 registration.
UL can now certify motor repair and rebuilding facilities of hazloc motors. Upon completion, UL issues you a certificate designating you as an official IECEx capable facility. When you use UL, you are guaranteed international recognition that you have:
• Relevant test equipment
• Experienced & Competent staff
• Authorized operating procedures
• Quality systems that meet IECEx requirements
UL is the first and only North American hazardous locations motor repair/rebuild facility approved by the IECEx System that can providethis certification solution for you.
