The OnCell 5004 and 5104 are the industry's first standalone platform of their type: robust, reliable, and high-performing machines. Moxa's cellular routers are intelligent and industrial strength to provide a multi-functional cellular communication platform that is ideal for upgrading M2M applications to cellular. They are especially well suited for environmental monitoring systems and transportation applications.
The OnCell uses 12 to 48 VDC power inputs with a screw-on design for greater reliability and has a wide operating temperature range of -30 to 55°C. The housing of the OnCell is aluminum and IP30-rated for industrial ruggedness. Advanced features include TCP/UDP, DHCP support, NAT, port forwarding, and access control lists. With one WAN and four LAN interfaces, all of which are protected by 1.5 KV magnetic isolation, your system is safe from unexpected electrical discharges. In addition, the OnCell is equipped with redundant power inputs to ensure non-stop operation.
The difference between the OnCell 5004 and OnCell 5104 is that the OnCell 5104 has an IA design and can be attached to a DIN-Rail, and the OnCell 5104 has a built-in relay output that can be configured to indicate the priority of events for notifying field engineers. In addition, the two digital inputs of the 5104 allow you to connect basic I/O devices, such as sensors, to the cellular network.
