Voltage sag protection for sensitive equipment can now be 99% efficient and eco-friendly. Compared to a UPS, the Sag Fighter power conditioner can reduce energy consumption by 8 to 20% and eliminate the need for lead acid battery disposal and maintenance contracts. In sizes from 20 to 2,500 kVA, it provides sag correction for up to 100 seconds while saving energy and the environment.

Few businesses need or can afford facility-wide protection from infrequent power interruptions so when an interruption strikes, operations stop. However, in many facilities there will be a sensitive device or process that shuts down due to commonly occurring voltage sags. The Sag Fighter power conditioner provides protection from sags down to 30% of remaining voltage regardless of load, load type or power factor. Full voltage correction is accomplished within 2 ms from the start of the voltage sag and continues for up to 100 seconds. Replacing a typical 200 kVA UPS, for example, with the Sag Fighter power conditioner could save more than 260,000 kW-hr of electricity per year and eliminate the need to purchase and dispose of hundreds of lead acid batteries over 10 years.
