Voltage regulating transformers (VRTs) protect sensitive equipment from unregulated utility power when a UPS goes into bypass operation. The bypass conditioner regulates voltage to equipment or bus systems, minimizes voltage transients, reduces line noise and provides transient surge suppression other conditioning for the incoming utility power.
In many applications, the performance requirements can be very demanding. Critical systems frequently demand the most stringent performance from a voltage regulating transformer. These characteristics include:

The Sure-Volt™ electronic voltage regulating transformer - power conditioner provides all of these critical features. In addition, it also has a minimum 97% efficiency, low heat rejection and no scheduled maintenance.
The Sure-Volt™ is available in single phase and three phase configurations from 5 to 2,000 kVA with standard input and out voltages, voltage step up or voltage step down and custom voltages up to 600V. Units can be 50 or 60 Hz. A wide variety of metering, communications and enclosure options are also available.
