VAC-U-MAX created this 55 gallon twin venturi industrial vacuum cleaner cover with HEPA filtration. This unit is designed to pick up hazardous dusty material in the presence of solvent vapors. The solvent environment created a potential explosion hazard, which required the vacuum to be intrinsically safe. VAC-U-MAX constructed a vacuum to operate on safe compressed air with anti-sparking stainless steel construction and static-conductive dust filter. Additionally the hazardous dust also required HEPA filtration rated 99.97% efficient on particles as small as 0.3 micron. VAC-U-MAX also supplied a static-conductive vacuum hose, which is chemically resistant to 99% of industrial chemicals including solvents such as Toluene, Xylene, etc. In liquid applications where HEPA filters are not a requirement, this same unit can be equipped with a liquid shutoff valve to pick up liquid solvents, such as Toluene, Methanol, Xylene at rates up to 2 gallons per second.
