PC3001 VARIO™ Vacuum Pumping System
The VACUUBRAND® PC3001 VARIO™ vacuum pumping system saves time in the lab and protects samples. The pumping system detects vapor flow from evaporative applications, like rotary evaporators and centrifugal concentrators, and continuously optimizes vacuum conditions without the need for trial runs, or programming. Just press start, and the system follows vapor pressure curves, increasing and decreasing pumping speeds as necessary to manage vacuum and evaporate samples quickly but gently.
Shortens Run Times and Protects Samples
The automatic optimization shortens evaporation times by up to 30% compared with conventional electronic vacuum controls, including those provided as original equipment on evaporators and concentrators. Continuous control also greatly reduces bumping, even with evaporation of complex mixtures, and protects samples from losses due to over-pumping.
VACUUBRAND® VARIO™ pumping systems are controlled with an intuitive CVC 3000 controller, with a turn-and-tap control knob and a combined digital/analog display. They can be operated automatically from the controller, or linked to a computer to run a programmed ramp, or to document operating conditions.
Quiet, Reliable, Chemical-Resistant Pump
The pump at the heart of the PC3001 is an oil-free diaphragm pump. It is whisper-quiet in operation, and the fluoropolymer flowpath makes it exceptionally chemical resistant. These pumps have a suggested service interval of 10,000-15,000 operating hours. In a lab that uses its pumps 40 hours a week, that's over 5 years until the first recommended service! And the diaphragm and valve change for each service operation take less than an hour to replace, with no tedious trial-and-error recalibration of new diaphragms.
Need more pumping capacity for larger applications? Take a look at the rest of the VACUUBRAND® VARIO™ line of pumping systems: the PC3002 VARIO™, the PC3003 VARIO™, the PC3004 VARIO™, and even the PC3012 VARIO™ with a pumping speed of 5.8cfm (166lpm) that makes it ideal for kilo lab and pilot plant applications.
