Applications

The brushless 24V DC motor on the three-stage MD 1 VARIO-SP diaphragm pump enables easy integration of the pump into other equipment, and operation independent of line voltage. The pump is oil-free, extremely compact and mountable in any position and is, therefore, the ideal built-in or system pump. With its variable speed drive system, the pump attains significantly higher pumping speed and a better ultimate vacuum—1 mbar—than the corresponding fixed speed pump. These pumps are also available in a chemistry version, with all parts in contact with process vapors made of chemically resistant fluoroplastics. The MD 1 and MD 1C VARIO-SP pumps are extraordinarily silent and vibration-free and nearly maintenance-free. Many other OEM models are also available.
