Varian FTMS Systems provide reliable, high performance Fourier Transform Mass Spectrometers for use in a wide variety of applications including proteomics, metabolomics, and petrochemical and environmental analysis.

The current instruments are based on the well established IonSpec technology. We have integrated the Varian vacuum and magnet component technologies to further enhance the performance, reliability and versatility of these powerful instruments

• Versatile – The 903-MS is a powerful combination of our 901-MS (QFT) and 902-MS (ProMALDI) instruments, providing scientists with two separate and independent mass spectrometers. The unique dual-cart design makes it quick and easy to switch between a variety of ionization sources.

• Powerful – Varian FTMS instruments are available in a wide range of field strengths, including 7, 9.4, 12.0 and now 15.0 Tesla – the world's highest commercially available magnetic field strength. Each instrument offers routine sub-ppm mass accuracy, wide dynamic range, attomole sensitivity and outstanding resolving power.
