Stairs and Landings

Stairs and landings for mezzanines are factory fabricated and painted. They are shipped in a knock-down state for easy installation on the site. A complete, factory welded assembly is also available. Intermediate landings are provided for staircases when the deck height is more than 12 feet (IBC code requirement).

Stair Towers

Fabricated and painted at the factory, Vertispace stair towers are shipped in a knock-down state and can be quickly erected on the site.

Stairs are manufactured to meet stringent IBC, BOCA or OSHA building codes and include the necessary 2 rail or 3 rail guardrail (handrail) required per building codes. Standard width is 36". Stairs are the painted gray and the guardrail is painted safety yellow.

Open tread/open riser design stairs utilize steel bar grating for treads. Closed tread/open riser and closed tread/closed riser designs utilize steel diamond plate for treads and/or risers.

Landings are decked with steel diamond plate and are available in 3 sizes; 3'6" square (standard for 36" doors), 3' square and 4'square.
