A hydraulic press specifically designed to mold test samples of rubber for ASTM D3182 is available from Wabash MPI. The Genesis Series Compression Press, Model G50H-19, has adjustable clamp force of 8 to 50 tons. Fully guided, heated and insulated platens are 19" x 19" with operating temperature to 500°. Proprietary platen design provides more precise temperature uniformity across the platen surface.

Other features include integral hydraulic system, fully programmable controls and fully guarded clamp area with interlocked operator gate. Options include contact gauge for more quiet operation and low pressure system for operation from 2 to 50 tons clamp force.
