At Wallace Cranes, special orders are no problem. We can quickly tailor a crane to fit your work envelope and application.
Most often, users have specific requirements for load capacity. We can also accommodate special needs to fit into small spaces within tight work envelopes.
Recent custom orders include a request for different heights on each end (one side was on the shop floor, the other was a raised dock), for a lift through a mezzanine floor we created a crane under 4 ft. tall (this crane had few adjustments) and one crane had a span so short the brackets nearly touched. We frequently customize our fixed height cranes. Depending on the load we have increased the height. We also have a new 2 ton fixed height aluminum crane with 10 ft. height under beam. For portability, two people can easily carry one end frame.
To help you plan we can provide CAD models in various formats. We can also provide a 3D PDF so you can check the fit and clearance yourself.
