Warner Electric, an Altra Industrial Motion company, announces its new line of Gen 2 Packaged Electromagnetic Clutch/Brake modules. Advanced design, material, and manufacturing technologies allow Gen 2 to feature several enhancements in performance and appearance compared to the original C-Face design.

• Improvements to the internal component mounting and external housing fin design increase heat dissipation, optimizing stop/start frequencies — particularly in enclosed configurations.
• Better input-to-output axis alignment reduces vibration, noise, and wear.
• Custom mounting bolts allow the conduit box to be located directly on top of the unit for consistent orientation across the product line.
• Integrated mounting bolts make installation easier.
• Optional cover kits readily convert vented units into fully enclosed modules that keep contaminants out and wear particles in for clean, quiet operation.
  

Unit fits and wiring requirements remain unchanged, allowing Gen 2 to directly replace original C-Face models in sizes 50, 100, and 180. Sizes 210 and 215 will continue to be manufactured in their original C-Face design.

• www.WarnerElectricGen2.com is a brand new website that provides a Gen2 product overview along with the following information: product features, training, dimensions, availability, ordering, a part conversion tool, and a helpful FAQ section.
• An Interactive Online Gen2 Module Installation Training program provides end users with proper installation practices for Warner Electric Gen2 Module Products. The program includes best practices and troubleshooting information as well as Gen2 equivalent part conversion information for your current part numbers. (Note - due to the size of the requested Flash Movie file, downloading might take several seconds.)
• The Gen2 Part Conversion Tool located on the "Order" page of the new Gen2 website, will assist you with identifying the new Gen2 part number based on the original design part number. For your convenience, the Complete Part Conversion Table PDF Document is also available for download.
• Warner Electric eCatalog has been updated to include the new Gen2 part numbers and specifications. 2D and 3D part drawings are available for download as well.

The Gen2 Phase 4 Product Catalog contains complete ordering information for the UniModules (UM Series), Enclosed UniModules (EUM Series), Electro Modules (EM Series) with Enclosed Option, Electro Modules (EM-FBC Series) with Enclosed Option, UniModules (UM-FBC Series), Enclosed UniModules (EUM-FBB Series), UniModules - Ceramic Faced (UM-C Series) clutches and brakes.
