Waterloo Biofilter sheds deliver excellence treatment for your home, cottage or housing development in a compact space. The compactness and Nitrogen removal allows higher density construction in environmentally sensitive areas. These units require little maintenance and intermittent power usage. The size and depth of the Area Bed used for disposal is much smaller than with traditional septic tank and leaching field systems. Because the shed sits directly on the disposal bed no distribution piping is required.

These attractive sheds come in cedar and vinyl configurations. They are sized for your site and are ideal for locations with limited space, bedrock, heavy clay, high water tables, or where minimal site disturbance is desired. The systems are very robust, easy to install, have a short start up period, easily handle variable flows and can be used seasonally without sacrificing treatment levels.

The process consists of a septic tank where effluent flows through an effluent filter into a pump chamber which doses the sheds with specific volumes on a timed or demand basis.
