The RD-700 is an epoxy coated, cast iron, dual outlet roof drain/overflow combination that installs with a single roof penetration, making it an automatic first choice for both engineering specification and contractor preference.
Roof drains carry rainwater from commercial buildings to avoid water seeping down basement walls or under slab foundations. The RD-700 is an original Watts design, which can replace any competitor's primary and overflow roof drain combination. It is used on flat roofs of any construction (other than poured in place) where the building's drainage design needs to account for both typical drainage into the normal storm water sewer system and occasional emergency overflow. The low profile secured ductile iron dome allows for rapid drainage of rainwater while still protecting the drain from debris. The overflow drain only receives water when the back-up is greater than the setting of the standpipe.
