Welker Engineered Products manufacturers a line of self-lubricating, bonded construction gibs and wear plates. Steel gibs are bonded with Rulon filled PTFE to enable dry or wet operation. Two piece gib unit is normally ordered in pairs.
High load bonded plates provide "built-in" lubrication. Substrate can be steel, stainless steel, bronze or aluminum. Manufactured to customer specifications.
Bonded bearing construction combines the strength and dimensional stability of metal with the additional performance of a reinforced PTFE liner. Inch or metic sizes available. Bonded bearings provide excellent heat dissipation. Dimensions and tolerances can be held much closer than with solid reinforced PTFE bearings.
