ZāGO's self-sealing nuts are available in both metric and standard sizes and are designed for use with all types of adjusting screws and machine bolts. Like all of ZāGO's self-sealing fasteners, their sealing nuts are manufactured with a groove under the head to accommodate an "O"-Ring which, when compressed, forms a complete seal and permits full metal-to-metal contact. ZāGO's nuts don't just seal in the circumference of the nut, but are constructed in such a way that when the nut is tightened, part of the cross-section of the "O"-Ring penetrates to the nut thread and seals the thread. In addition, the nuts are reusable and can be made from numerous combinations of rubber and steel. And all of our products can be produced to be both ROHS and DFARS compliant
