Zagar Inc., Cleveland, Ohio introduces new MQ-50 CNC quill feed unit for use as an end effector on robotic arms to machine holes. Precision ball screw actuated quill feed with the ball screw on center line of the quill for high thrust capability. Separate AC servo motors control the linear feed (50mm) and spindle rotation (max. 12,000 RPM). Pressure foot attachments enable compression of multiple work piece layers and position feed back from work surface for precise control of counter-sinking operations. Side or end mounting (shown side mounted).
