Bodine Electric Company has further expanded the Pacesetter™ family of AC inverter duty, three-phase gearmotors and motors. Motor and gearhead combinations are optimized to deliver maximum output power in the smallest package.

An innovative Quintsulation™ 5-stage insulation system is designed to meet NEMA MG 1-1993, Section IV, Part 31. The inverter-grade magnet wire and Class F insulation system offers superior protection against potential spikes or corona damage caused by the inverter. Pacesetter gearmotors are UL recognized for construction, CSA certified, and in compliance with the Low Voltage Directive "CE."

Bodine Electric's inverter duty AC motors and gearmotors are rated from 1/25 - 3/4 HP, 230 VAC, 60Hz, 3-phase, for operation with a wide range of inverter products. Gearmotors are designed with all-steel gear trains, needle bearings on the output shaft for increased radial load capacity, and long life. All gearmotors are permanently lubricated and require no maintenance. IP-40 terminal box kits are available for all frame sizes.

Several special-order design options are also available, for example, 460 VAC or 230/460 VAC windings for most 230 VAC models, and hollow shaft versions of most right-angle gearmotors.
