The T5000 Series NTC thermistor temperature probe line offers a low cost solution for long term temperature monitoring applications requiring a thermistor attached to heavier cable or longer extension leads. The thermistor is protected by a conformal coating typically applied by a dip coating process. The conformal coating may be an epoxy, silicone, or urethane based coating. The T5000 Series is a good choice for applications where extreme environmental conditions, such as excessive moisture, do not exist. The T5000 Series in not recommended for applications requiring direct immersion in aqueous or corrosive liquids.
