IXMOTION has developed unique know-how in dynamic precision servo-control and also in embedded gyro-stabilized systems for vehicles, boats and airplanes. This skill and expertise was quickly concretized by winning development and production contracts for major players in Defense and the aeronautical industry.

Today, IXMOTION offers a range of 1- to 3-axis modular positioners with an MCU calculator; they enable every kind of position sensor to be integrated and also enable the development of dedicated applications.

IXMOTION's gyro-stabilized positioner is made up of three distinct parts:

• A range of POS Series positioners: POS-10, POS-20 and POS-30,
• An MCU computer (Modular Control Unit),
• The ProAxe^© Embedded software with real time software and development software.

The range of positioners POS-10, POS-20 and POS-30 was developed and qualified in order to respond to:

• The system depending on its weight and dimensions (RF sensors, optical sensors…);
• Climatic, mechanic and CEM environment constraints;
• Stabilization and tracking demands of the embedded systems.

The positioners are used both for civilian and military applications in different aeronautical, land-based and maritime activities. They can be configured and adapted to all applications.

The MCU computer is based on PC104 architecture with X86 processor. It is made up of 5 slots, 3 of which are for the client's applications. Power supply boards and filters are integrated and can be customized according to clients' needs. The MCU computer offers a package of standard and specific processors (graphics, communication bus …)

The real-time, multitask ProAxe^© Embedded software has been developed on RTAI/LINUX and enables all client applications to be received (including MATLAB-SIMULINK^© applications).

In order to facilitate developments in client application and its integration in MCU computer, PROAXE^© Embedded software offers simple and easy-to-use development software.
