DryLin S aluminum shafting has been optimized for friction and wear to run against DryLin^® R linear bearings and iglide^® J plain bearings. DryLin S reduces wear by 20 percent versus the competing steel shafting. It is both corrosion-free and lightweight.

DryLin R linear bearings compensate for misalignment errors and are a weight-saving alternative to ball bearings. DryLin R can be used in conjunction with Drylin S aluminum shafting in underwater applications and where excessive amounts of dirt are present as an optimum pairing.
