Molding Process Software Upgraded

Kistler Instrument announces a new version – 2.3 – of DataFlow™ process analysis software, type 2805A… that optimizes injection molding quality. A new provision permits split operation into a set up mode, much like molding machines. New data compression technology facilitates data processing. The new floating tolerance band accommodates sporadic disruptions such as delayed start up of the injection phase. New filter features can be used during the offline phase for faster facilitation of the analysis and quicker generation of software configurations. The off line graphics include new display data for molding sample analysis, especially valuable in long run set-ups.

The new features enhance the series of process visualization tools including monitoring, cavity pressure, contact temperature and robotic reject gate for bad part separation. A statistical analysis tool documents production parameters for yield improvement measures and quality certifications for customer verification requirements.
