LEESON has introduced new, enhanced worm gear reducers designed to withstand the rigors of high-pressure washdowns. Built on the foundation of LEESON's industrial-duty IRONMAN BY OHIO GEAR® line, these All Stainless reducers add premium features to ensure trouble-free operation in food processing, pharmaceutical, poultry processing, chemical areas and other high-humidity, abrasive or corrosive environments.

LEESON All Stainless reducers are available in four center distances, in ratios from 5:1 through 100:1 with NEMA C flange, quill or coupling input.

Standard features of LEESON All Stainless reducers include:

•O-ring on face of input flange, which provides a positive seal against moisture intrusion in this critical area

•Stainless steel output shaft

•Stainless steel hardware, including square-head pipe plugs to eliminate entrapment in vent locations

•Enviroseal eliminates the need for a vent, creating a "sealed for life" design

•Viton double-lip shaft seals for superior resistance to chemicals common in washdown applications

•O-ring seals on input and output covers eliminate gaskets, sealants and leak

•Food grade synthetic lubricant, USDA Class H2

•Stainless steel data plate riveted to frame and adhesive backed to eliminate particle entrapment

•Housing and covers are 300 series cast stainless steel to withstand extreme environments

All Stainless Steel Gear+Motor combinations are also available. These are available in single-phase ratings through 1 -l/2 HP, three-phase through 5HP and permanent magnet DC through l-l/2 HP.

In addition to the new AU-Statiess reducers, LEESON added Worm Gear Reducers to it's Premium WASHGUARD® line designed for washdown duty applications. Standard WASHGUARD® reducers are now available in sizes from 1.33" to 3.25" center distances in both solid and hollow shaft styles.

Premium features as standard include:
