The sensor interface PCD-300 series, which is only connected to a PC via USB interface, converts your PC into a measurement instrument. Two types of sensor interface are available: the PCD-300A can measure strain with a strain gage, or force, pressure, acceleration, and displacement with strain gage type transducers. The PCD-320A can measure voltage.
When you connect a strain gage or voltage output sensor directly to the input terminal at the rear of the sensor interface and start up the control software (PCD-30A), your PC will be converted into a measurement instrument. Since all operations can be performed interactively with the connected PC, measurement data in engineering units can be obtained only by connecting a sensor to the sensor interface and making simple settings. One sensor interface unit has four channels for taking measurements. The systems can be expanded to up to four units (16 channels) by connecting the units via a synchronous cable and USB HUB, making this system ideal for small-scale measurement. Combined use of PCD-300A and 320A is also possible. Such a compact, versatile measurement system can be used as a measurement tool for both simple experiments and highly advanced measurements.
