The FC268 will accept any frequency between 250 Hz and 10 Khz and provide a 0 to +10 Vdc output signal proportional to the input frequency. A six-position Range Switch and Range Adjust pot allows precise calibration of the 10 Vdc output signal. The signal source can be from a magnetic pickup, photocell, oscillator or any other signal source that produces a polarity change of +/-15 mV or more.
The output response of the FC268 is controlled by a three-position low-pass filter selection switch. For high frequency input signals, an output response of up to 200 Hz may be used to measure rapid changes in input frequency. For lower input frequencies, a low-pass filter setting of as low as 0.5 Hz may be selected.
The +10 Vdc output signal can source 10 mA. A front panel output signal test point is available.
