The MC1 system consists of a series of module cases and a family of plug-in signal conditioning modules that comprise an economical and flexible system that can be customized to meet your signal conditioning needs.
The module cases contain the system power supply, backplane, input/output wiring interface, and mechanical housing necessary for support of the MC1 signal conditioning modules. There are two basic types of module cases: three channel types for bench-top use and rack mounted module cases that accomodate either 10 or 20 of the plug-in signal conditioning modules.
Plug-in modules for the MC1 system provide signal conditioning for strain gages, LVDTs, variable reluctance sensors, RTDs, frequencies, and thermcouples. The modules have finger-friendly dials and switches for fast adjustments in the laboratory.
