Individual Safety Light Barrier Control Unit Series SS2

Up to 4 transmitters and receivers can be connected to the individual light barrier control unit. The safety field generated by these light barriers is monitored. Safety Category is Cat. 2 per EN954-1. 2 PNP safety outputs are included (alternatively: 2 floating relay outputs). Features include: restart inhibit function, relay control, cascading up to 15 individual light barriers, and muting. Ideal for applications for safeguarding machines, saws, palletizing equipment, and packaging machines and for access monitoring. Safety Light Curtains Type 2 Suitable for Connection Unit A Up to 2 transmitter-receiver strips can be wired to a central connector unit. Safety category is category 2 per EN954-1. Resolution is 30mm meaning hand protection. 1 PNP safety output, 1 signal output, and 1 contamination output are included. Features include: restart inhibit function, cyclic operation mode, relay control, muting, safeguarding for 2 safety fields, and fix blanking.

Safety Light Curtains Type 2 Finger Protection/Hand Protection

Transmitter and receiver strips are enclosed in separate housings. Analysis electronics are integrated into the receiver. Safety category is category 2 per EN954-1. Resolution is either 14mm for finger protection or 30mm for hand protection. 2 PNP safety outputs and 1 signal output are included. Safety light curtains can be activated, and diagnosis functions can be initialized via the RS-485 interface. Features include: restart inhibit control, relay control, cascading, muting, fix blanking, floating blanking, reduced resolution, and configuration and diagnosis via serial interface. Ideal for applications including safeguarding against hazardous motion, packaging machines, palletizing equipment, and woodworking machines and for access monitoring.

Relay Unit Type 2/Type 4

Safety relevant load circuits can be switched with the relay unit. Floating safety relays are utilized. Safety category is category 4 per EN954-1. 2 sets of 2 normally open contacts are included. Applications include: potential free disconnection of load circuits.
