Chemical Milling
Tech Met performs chemical milling primarily on titanium, hi-temp and ferrous alloy components, and some aluminum alloys. Alloys such as tantalum, copper, and magnesium are also processed. (read more) |

Surface Purification
Chemical milling has proven effective for the removal of EDM recast layers, carburization layers and oxidation layers on a variety of alloys including Alpha case removal on titanium. It is also effective for removing smeared metal surfaces caused by conventional machining to facilitate dye penetrant inspection. (read more) |
