Resistive Glass tubes are form and fit replacements for traditional capillary inlet or drift tubes, but can be used to create uniform fields to guide or direct charged particles. This can significantly improve ion transfer efficiency by drawing more ions into the mass spectrometer. They can be used in atmospheric pressure ionization, ion mobility spectrometry, or as reflectron tubes. (read more)
