Abrisa Technologies has added Gorilla® Glass to its portfolio of high ion exchange (HIE) strengthened thin glass product line. Dimensionally, Gorilla® Glass can be ordered from Abrisa Technologies in thicknesses from 0.5mm to 2.0 mm and in Gen 5 (1250mm x 900mm) sheets which can then be fabricated to suit specific size and shape requirements. High Ion Exchange or HIE glass from Abrisa Technologies is chemically strengthened glass that has increased strength as a result of a post-product chemical process. This process typically increases the strength of the glass by 6 to 8X that of float glass and has outstanding impact, temperature and scratch resistance with flexibility strength. (read more)
