The low contrast targets meet the requirements as specified in MIL-STD-150A for resolving power tests. Specifically, the 35%, 80%, and 94% charts have contrasts as specified for low, medium, and high contrast. These targets are typically used for checking of optical resolving power for optical systems at various contrast levels. (read more)
