Spectrometer Measures Alcohol in Beverage
Infrared analysis of alcohol is often measured in the near infrared range (NIR). Mid infrared (Mid-IR), on the other hand, offers more distinct absorbance bands without the overtones found in the NIR range. Mid-IR also allows for the use of an ATR (Attenuated Total Reflection) sample stage, with the exposed crystal making sample presentation and cleaning quick and easy. (read more)
