Spray pumps with overcaps and dip tubes are sorted in a Farason pocketed sorter such that they exit the sorter with the dip tube upward. The pumps enter a c-chute for re-orientation and then exit onto a conveyor. Missing overcaps or dip tubes are identified in the sorter and ejected prior to the c-chute. Three sizes of plastic lemons and limes are sorted, oriented and fed single file onto a conveyor by means of two Farason pocketed sorters that then feeds the lemons to a continuous motion rotary turret assembly that accepts both streams of lemons as well as empty pucks. The multi-layer starwheel assembly mates lemons into pucks and dischagres filled pucks back onto the production conveyor. (read more)

Lipstick caps are sorted from bulk in a Farason pocketed sorter and fed to a pick and place that places them onto lipstick bases riding in boats. Completed assemblies are removed from the boats and placed into shipped trays. (read more)
