Gripper products are used in fixtures to hold a component in place by providing resistance by friction or slight surface penetration. The face of the gripper may be serrated or flat and made of steel, carbide, or a plastic material. Learn More about Gripper Products
Servo drives provide electrical drive outputs to servo motors in closed-loop motion control systems where position feedback and corrective signals optimize position and speed accuracy. Search by Specification | Learn More about Servo Drives
DC servomotors are generally small and powerful for their size, and easy to control. Common types of DC servomotors include brushless or gear motors. Search by Specification | Learn More about DC Servomotors
Grippers activate jaws or fingers to pick up, hold, or move work pieces in an automated or robotic system. Search by Specification | Learn More about Grippers
AC servomotors are responsive, high-acceleration motors typically constructed as permanent magnet synchronous motors. Search by Specification | Learn More about AC Servomotors
Torque tubes and torque arms assist operators to position high-torque tools, such as industrial screwdrivers and nut-runners. Learn More about Torque Tubes and Torque Arms
Industrial robots are programmable mechanical devices that contain rotary and/or prismatic joints in order to perform precise, repetitive movements. Types of industrial robots include articulated, Cartesian, cylindrical, gantry, parallel (hexapods), SCARA, and spherical. Search by Specification | Learn More about Industrial Robots
Laser optics, heads and beam delivery components are used in laser cutting machines, laser welding and marking systems. Search by Specification | Learn More about Laser Optics, Heads and Beam Delivery Components
Motor controllers receive supply voltages and provide signals to motor drives that are interfaced to motors. They include a power supply, amplifier, user interface, and position control circuitry. Search by Specification | Learn More about Motor Controllers
Servo valves provide closed loop flow or pressure response to an electrical or electronic control signal. They are used in air, gas, and liquid applications. Search by Specification | Learn More about Servo Valves
Motion controllers range from simple linear controllers to complex, user-programmable modules that act as controllers within complex integrated multi-axis motion systems. Search by Specification | Learn More about Motion Controllers
Coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) are mechanical systems designed to move a measuring probe to determine the coordinates of points on a work piece surface. Search by Specification | Learn More about Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
DC motor drives act as the interface and power supply between a motion controller and a DC motor. Search by Specification | Learn More about DC Motor Drives
AC motor drives interface controllers to AC motors. They match the control signals (voltage and power levels) as well as the signal type (analog or digital). They also provide power conversion, amplification, and the sequencing of waveform signals. Search by Specification | Learn More about AC Motor Drives
Motion control systems contain matched components such as controllers, motor drives, motors, encoders, user interfaces and software. Components in these systems are optimally matched by the manufacturer. Search by Specification | Learn More about Motion Control Systems

SCHUNK has expanded its EGN series of servo electric 2-finger parallel grippers to include sizes 80 and 160 to the existing size 100. The new sizes have a stroke per finger of 8 and 16 millimeters, respectively. This upward and downward expansion of the series now makes it possible to use the exact size of gripper for each task with the right specifications.

The Crane Arm Ergo Assist (patent pending) combines the traveling range of a crane with the advantages of a manipulator. The Crane Arm can float the load with no up/down pushbuttons and hold the load in the same attitude, even when gripping off the center of gravity. It can reach under a car, into a press or into an opening. (read more)
