Thin film equipment uses vacuum processing for the modification of surfaces using CVD, PVD, plasma etching, and thermal oxidation or ion implantation

Steam traps are automatic valves that release condensate from a steam space while preventing the loss of live steam. They also remove air and noncondensables from the steam space.

Mass spectrometers separate ions by their mass-to-charge (m/z) ratios. They are used to identify compounds by the mass of one or more elements in the compound. They are also used to determine the isotopic composition of one or more elements in a compound.

Semiconductors (metalloids) or semiconductor materials are used to fabricate microelectronic and optoelectronic devices such as transistors, photodetectors or solar cells.

Specialty filtration and separation equipment includes specialized or proprietary products and accessories for filtration and separation.

Vacuum furnaces are heat-treating furnaces that use a low atmospheric pressure instead of a protective gas atmosphere. This helps to alleviate surface reactions.

Gas chromatography columns (GC columns) are of two types: packed and capillary. Solutes to be measured travel through the column at a rate primarily determined by their physical properties, and the temperature and composition of the column.
