• SHAREPOINT PORTAL SERVER 2003 or WINDOWS SHAREPOINT SERVICES
• Download the appropriate web part:
• Engineering Web Search - Sharepoint 2003
• Product Search - Sharepoint 2003
• Browse to the WSS site that you want to use these web parts.
• Click on "Go to Site Settings", click on "Site Administration" under Administration, and then click on "Manage Web Part gallery" under Site Collection Galleries.
• Click on [Upload Web Part].
• Under name, click on the [Browse] button. Browse to the .dwp file that is included in this package, and click [Open].
• You can either specify a group, or leave it with no group.
• Click [Save and Close]
• On a web part page, click on [Modify Shared Page], [Add Web Parts], [Browse]. The new web part will appear in the Web Part task pane. Add the web part to any web zone. You can also customize the properties of the web part as well (i.e. change the title, border, etc.)
• SHAREPOINT PORTAL SERVER 2001
• Download the appropriate web part:
• Engineering Web Search - Sharepoint 2001
• Product Search - Sharepoint 2001
• Browse to the WSS site that you want to use these web parts.
• Go to the dashboard you want to add the web part.
• Click on [Content], and then click on "Import a Web Part File…" link under Import or Create.
• Under name, click on the [Browse] button. Browse to the .dwp file that is included in this package, and click [Open].
• Click [Save].
• On the dashboard page, click on [Layout]. Move the web part to the appropriate section. Click [Save].
