Industrial Partitions

Industrial partitions are used to separate different areas of a workspace into separate components. This area includes cages, curtains, doors, enclosures, gates, in-plant offices, and other dividing devices. Partitions are generally designed with ease of construction in mind, using lightweight materials.  Common industrial partition materials include aluminum, fabric, plastic, steel, and wire mesh.  Some partitions have ratings (fire, sound, etc.) depending upon their application.  Others are designed for specific needs, such as clean rooms, mobility (they have built-in wheels), and flexibility. Standard industrial partitions include cages, curtains, doors and gates, guard buildings, guard rails, in-plant offices, panels, and screens.

Cage partitions are enclosures, typically wire, designed for confining materials or equipment.

Industrial curtains are used to shield or partition a particular area.

Doors and gates are swinging or sliding partitions by which entry to an area may be temporarily closed off.

Guard buildings are small enclosures generally set-up as security checkpoints.

Guard rails are partitions that are placed along the edge of a platform or dangerous area to prevent injury, or to protect machinery.

In-plant offices are small-enclosed spaces designed for office work within a factory. They can help to keep delicate machinery, paperwork or personnel separate from smoke, factory noise, floating particulate, heat and other irritants.

Panels and partitions are temporary sections that may be assembled with other panels or partitions to create large scale fences, walls or enclosures.

Screens are protective industrial partitions used to deflect heat, UV light, etc.
