During 2006, GlobalSpec revenues grew 48 percent over 2005. Also during 2006, the company exceeded three million registered users– a 50 percent year-over-year increase – and continues to add registered users at a rate of more than 20,000 per week. An August 2006 BPA independent audit concluded that GlobalSpec was surpassing the 3.8 million level in monthly visits. GlobalSpec's specification-based search technology (SpecSearch®) also experienced significant growth in 2006 - registered users now have the ability to search more than 153 million parts in 2 million product families from over 21,000 digitized catalogs by product specification.
