Pittcon Roundup The big show of the year was tempered by the economy, but there was still plenty of news and new equipment, with vendors responding to the market conditions by showing how to do more with less. Waters displayed a family of Xeno mass spectrometers, as well as products for Ultra-Performance liquid chromatography and supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC). WITec introduced optical and scanning probe microscopy, including confocal Raman imaging. And Thermo Fisher Scientific had a food safety system and a sensitive mass spectrometer.
