   Assembly Process
   Your choices are...
Assembly Press       Assembly presses assemble components by applying pressure.
Automatic Insertion       Automatic insertion machines are used for component insertion, including tabs, terminal, sockets, and pins.
Brazing and Soldering       Brazing and soldering equipment is used to assemble components.
Clinching / Stitch folding       Clinching and stitch folding are assembly methods for joining sheet metal without using screws, rivets or other fasteners. Clinching uses a punching and squeezing process to create a rivet-like joint. Stitch folding stitches material using staple-like "stitches" created from the base material.
Eyeletting       Eyeletting machines are used to insert eyelets.
Injected Metal (IMA)       In the injected metal assembly (IMA) process, a molten alloy is injected into a cavity between two components. The molten alloy cools and solidifies, forming a strong bond.
Insert Drivers       Insert drivers are used to automatically assemble inserts.
Riveting, Impact       Impact riveting machines insert rivets, forming the rivet head by the force of an impact against the top of the shank.
Riveting, Nonimpact       Nonimpact riveting machines insert rivets, forming the rivet head by a combination of pressure and spinning motions against the top of the shank. The two most common forms of nonimpact riveting are orbital and radial forming.
Screwdriving / Nutdriving       Machines assemble components through an automatic screwdriving or nutdriving process.
Seal / O-ring Installation       Equipment automatically inserts seals or O-rings into an assembly.
Welding       Components are assembled automatically through a welding process.
Other       Other unlisted, specialized, or proprietary types of automated assembly equipment.

   Configuration
   Your choices are...
Carousel Systems       Carousel systems are constructed of a steel belt fit over two wheels. A central camshaft that also drives the assembly stations drives part fixtures mounted to this belt.
Continuous Motion       Continuous motion systems can be of rotary or linear construction. Unlike indexing, motion is continuous and can reach speeds of 600 to 1000 parts per minute.
Inline Indexing       With inline indexing machines, parts are indexed to various assembly stations that are organized in a straight line.
Multi-station       Multi-station equipment has more than one assembly station.
Nonsynchronous       Nonsynchronous conveyors, or asynchronous assembly systems, transfer parts on pallets from one assembly station to the next.
Rotary / Dial       Rotary dial assembly machines contain multiple assembly stations located around a dial plate that indexes parts from one station to the next.
Synchronous       Synchronous devices are cam-driven automated assembly machinery. Each assembly station is associated with one or more cams on a central camshaft that rotates at a constant speed. Synchronous system configurations include rotary, carousel, in-line and continuous motion equipment.
Walking Beam Transfer       Walking beam transfer systems are a type of synchronous assembly system. Pallets, carried on shot pins, are moved on a beam that engages with each actuation.

   Additional Capabilities
   Your choices are...
Conveyors       Conveyors are horizontal, inclined, declined, or vertical machinery that transports bulk materials from one place to another at a controlled rate.
High Speed Assembly       High-speed assembly systems are used for high-volume production. Typical high-speed assembly rates are 200 - 1000 parts per minute or more.
Flexible Assembly       Flexible assembly systems feature a modular construction to allow for future expansion or process refinement.
Powder / Bulk Handling       Material handling systems are designed to handle powder and bulk materials.
Cleanroom Application       Assembly equipment is suitable for cleanroom applications.  Cleanrooms are contamination-free environments for high-tech manufacturing and assembly.
Custom Equipment Design       Suppliers can design and supply custom or specialized equipment and/or systems.
Lifts       Industrial lifts are used to raise and lower material, personnel, and workpieces for loading and working positioning.
Linear Motor Integration       Suppliers can furnish equipment that incorporates linear motors. Linear motors generate force only in the direction of travel. They are capable of extremely high speeds, quick acceleration, and accurate positioning.
Marking Equipment       Marking equipment is used to place an identifying mark, logo, or name on a product.
Pallet Transfer Systems       Pallet transfer systems are used to automatically move pallets from one location to another.
Palletizers       Palletizers place goods on pallets in an orderly fashion.
Parts Feeders       Parts feeders are machines that orient parts so that a robot or other automatic process can use the parts.
Pick and Place Equipment       Pick and place machines are material handling equipment that automatically moves products from one location to another predetermined location. They can function as a collator or pattern maker, or be used to load products into other packaging machines, onto pallets, or onto other conveyor lines.
Robotics       Robots are programmable, multifunctional devices that move material, parts, tools, or other devices through programmed motion for a variety of tasks.
Testing Equipment       Equipment is designed to perform some form of testing, usually for product quality checking and analysis.
Vision Inspection       Machine vision systems are used for automated inspection and measurement in production environments.
Web Handling / Converting       Equipment is used to handle, process and convert continuous webs of textiles, paper, plastic films, metal sheet, or other materials.
Other Automation Equipment       Other, unlisted, or proprietary automation equipment.
Other Material Handling Equipment       Other unlisted, specialized, or proprietary material handling automation equipment.
